SafePDF โ€” Android app and browser extension ยท Last updated: July 16, 2026

Summary: we do not collect, store, transmit or sell any of your data. Your PDF files are processed entirely on your device. Nothing is uploaded to any server.

Who we are

SafePDF is operated by Evgenii Korobkov, Individual Entrepreneur, registered in the Republic of Armenia (“we”, “us”). Address: 15 Amiryan St, Apt 63, Yerevan, 0002, Armenia. Contact: support@biteapps.cc.

This policy covers the SafePDF Android app distributed on Google Play and the SafePDF Splitter browser extension distributed on the Chrome Web Store (together, the “apps”).

Your files never leave your device

All PDF processing โ€” splitting, merging and compression โ€” happens locally on your device. Files are never uploaded to any server, ours or anyone else's. In the browser extension this is enforced technically: its Content Security Policy declares connect-src 'none', which makes the browser itself block every outgoing network request from the extension's pages. You can verify this at any time by opening DevTools โ†’ Network while using the extension. The Android app likewise performs all processing on-device and works fully offline.

Data we collect

None. The apps contain no analytics, no telemetry, no crash reporting, no advertising identifiers and no user accounts. We do not know who you are, what files you process, or how often you use the apps.

Data stored on your device

The apps store a small amount of data locally on your device for exactly one purpose: remembering your settings and, if you upgrade to Pro, saving your license key so the activation persists between sessions.

In the browser extension this uses the single storage permission via chrome.storage.sync, which means Google may sync it between your own devices through your Google account, under Google's privacy policy. We have no access to this storage. In the Android app, this data is kept in the app's private storage on your device only.

A license key embeds the e-mail address it was purchased with. It is verified by a cryptographic signature locally, inside the app โ€” activation involves no server communication.

Payments

Pro upgrades are sold through third-party payment platforms: Google Play's billing system for the Android app, and a merchant of record (such as Lemon Squeezy or Paddle) for the browser extension. The payment platform โ€” not us โ€” collects and processes your payment details under its own privacy policy and terms. After a completed purchase, the platform may share with us the e-mail address of the purchase so that we can generate and deliver your license key. That e-mail address is the only personal data we ever receive, and we use it solely for license delivery and support.

E-mail

If a license key is delivered by e-mail, it is sent to the purchase e-mail address through a transactional e-mail provider. We do not send marketing e-mail and do not maintain mailing lists. If you write to our support address, we use your message and address only to answer you.

Children

The apps are general-audience productivity tools and are not directed at children under 13. Since we collect no data, no children's data is collected either.

Changes to this policy

If we ever change how the apps handle data, we will update this page and the “Last updated” date above, and material changes will be noted in the apps' changelogs on Google Play and the Chrome Web Store.
